I agree with most of this, but I have to disagree with the Epik High not being popular thing because they are. Popular enough that some horrible people on the internet decided to try and ruin Tablo’s life to the point that he was afraid for the safety of his daughter when she was born. They’ve also had special stages/collaborations with the likes of Big Bang, Younha, and Taeyeon from SNSD, which I think should vouch for their popularity.
But yes, I agree with the rest.
Just had to add my two cents.

Epik High is a hip hop/rap group, I haven’t been in kpop long enough to have ever seen them promote, so I don’t know how popular they really are but considering how different Epik High’s music is compared to the music from popular groups like SNSD, Super Junior, etc etc I would have to say they don’t appeal to the general public very much.
Oh and now inspirits are apparently rude and voted about half a million times each. So…Do other fan clubs not do this?
Because I’m part of multiple fanclubs and every time a group comes back, that post on how to vote on mnet shows up. Plus, votes only count for 10% when it comes to deciding who is going to win. The song has to be doing well on the charts too, and INFINITE’s first album was doing very well on the charts.
and finally! INSPIRITS ARE NOT RUDE! I honestly have met some amazingly nice people who were hardcore inspirits. We were a peaceful fanclub full of great people before they won and will continue to be in the future.
Sorry. I’m just tired of seeing all the hate towards INFINITE and Inspirits when they really don’t deserve it
